2.Presentation (25 mins)
a.運用 PPT,呈現歌謠中出現的動作字詞。
b.結合前一節課所學,引導學生討論哪些動作貓或狗也能
做出。
c.建議套用以下句型進行口語練習:
Teacher: Can dogs climb?
Students: No, they can’t.
d.共讀繪本 I Wish I Were a Dog,進行以下引導。
(1)Before Reading
從封面插圖猜測繪本名稱意涵。
套用 5W1H 句型進行問答,如下:
What do you see in the picture?
Where are they?
How does the cat feel?
Why does the cat look unhappy?
What will the cat say to the girl?
What does it mean by saying “I wish I were a dog?”
(2)While Reading
讀到關鍵頁面,如第 1、9、11、15 頁時,套用 5W1H
句型進行問答,讓學生討論可能發展的劇情,並確認學
生對故事的理解度,如下:
How does the cat feel now?
What will the cat say to the girl?
When can dogs play in the park?
What can dogs do in the park?
Why can dogs be film stars?
Whose name is Kitty?
How does the girl feel about cats?
What animal does the girl like better? Dogs or cats?
視學生狀況,運用 PPT,呈現所有動作字詞,幫助學生
預測,如:play, howl (bark), chase, chew, do, see, move,
jump, climb, prowl, come and go, sleep。
(3)After Reading
引導討論主角 Kitty 是否有因為主人的說明而釋懷。
先翻開封面蝴蝶頁,讓學生點數有幾隻動物,引導學生
發現,除了 17 隻狗以外,還有 1隻是有張狗臉孔的主角
