The history of Taiwanese tea has been traced back to 400 years ago. Taiwanese tea has
been influenced by Japanese tea and various western styles of tea. Drinking tea has now

There are many kinds of Taiwanese tea leaves, and they display different flavors and
aromas. A full set of tea-ware is necessary for making a cup of hot tea, including teapots,
pitchers, several types of cups, scoops, leaf holders, trays, and towels.
The Stages of Making Tea
(1) Warm the pots and cups first.
(2) Wash and rinse the tea leaves for about 20 seconds.
(3) Pour water into the teapot and brew it for an appropriate amount of time, which
depends on the type of tea leaves.
(4) Pour the beverage into the Cha-hi, a pitcher to hold the tea.
