本課程旨在培養學生在各式情境中所需之英語溝通互動能力,藉由多樣化的學習活動與練習,學生提升聽與說的能力與自信。課堂中,學生聽日常生活之對話內容,並加強練習各種聽力技巧:包括找出主旨與特定訊息以及聽與答之技巧。學生也學習發音規則和演練實用句,以增加口語流暢度。 | ||||||||||

The course aims to prepare students for full communicative interaction in a variety of natural contexts. By balancing consistent language support with challenging activities, students develop both fluency and confidence in speaking and listening skills. Students listen to short recorded dialogues or passages concerning everyday situations. Listening skills highlighted are: listening for the main idea, listening for specific information, and listening and responding. They learn pronunciation rules and guidance and practice useful expressions to achieve more fluent spoken English. |
1. 培養學生英語文之聽、說、讀、寫等方面的知能,以期學生具有基礎能
力,能理解和使用淺易日常用語。
聽: 能聽懂簡易的英語句子、日常問答及對話;經放慢速度及重覆,
可掌握大意。
說: 能簡單地自我介紹並以簡易英語對答; 能朗讀簡易文章。
讀: 能閱讀約1,000 ~1,400字彙及相關片語之簡易短文、故事、英
語對話的內容。
寫: 能寫簡單的英語句子及段落。
2. 加強學生對西方文化之認識,並藉以了解中西文化之差異。
3. 提供英語檢定考資訊,介紹網際網路優質英語學習網站。
4. 培養學生學習英語文的興趣,成為更好的語言學習者。
運用英語文之聽、說、讀、寫等方面的知能於合適情境中使用及溝通,
係為大專生應具備的基本能力。本年級英文是一門基礎課程,教授主
題以日常實用英語文為主,學生於學習過程中培養簡易基礎英語聽、說、
讀、寫之能力。學生將來不論選擇就業、國內繼續升學或出國深造,良好
的英語文能力都是不可缺少的條件,本課程乃為日後奠定良好的英語文基
礎及日常溝通必備的能力。

三、數位資源
(一)教學前之準備
1.首先以適合學生需要和程度來選擇書籍。
2.配合學期時程安排進度。
3.教材的準備及講義的準備。
4.與其他擔任本課程之老師討論並交換心得。
(二)授課內容與重點
1.先做引言對答以及背景文化介紹,以引起學生對單元主題之興趣。
2.介紹本單元學習重點與目標。
3.再以講授式教學法解釋課文。
4.做相關活動來加強學生朗讀課文之能力。
5.不看課本,由教師引導學生做相關聽力的練習。
6.以互動式進行課本內容討論,教師引導學生回答問題。
7.以小組方式練習句型結構,切實督導學生開口說英語。
8.以朗讀或看圖說故事或情境表演等方式鼓勵學生應用所學。
二、本課程與證照相關性
本課程與證照相關性極高。本課程之目標在於提升學生英文能力,教師於課堂
中鼓勵並輔導學生參加各項英語檢定測驗,以取得證照。
三、實務教學:本課程內容以日常生活用語為主,使學生熟悉實用英語。
四、補救教學
教師多鼓勵學生於課後前往自學中心,進行課後補救之輔助學習。學生可以利用
自學中心之硬體設施(如電腦以及視聽設備)和軟體資料(如語言學習教材以及光
碟錄音帶等等),針對自己的弱點作改進、並且要持之以恆。另可根據不同個案,
施行個別教育。專任英文教師在兩校區自學中心皆排有輔導時間,學生可與教師
進行一對一之輔導教學。輔導時間與地點於每學期期初公佈於網路上以及研究室
前公佈欄。

陸、評量方式
一、成績評量
(一) 平時成績佔40% ~50 %,包括1.小考2.出席
(二) 期中考成績佔20% ~30%
(三) 期末考成績佔20% ~30%
二、學習評量
(一) 安置性評量: 為於學期一開始了解學生能力,以問卷調查調查的方式實施
安置性評量(參考附件)。
(二) 形成性評量 : 開學後二至三週內,藉由小考、作業及課堂上活動來了解
學生學習的狀況,以便調整教學的方式。
(三) 診斷式評量: 學期中進行考試以及報告,針對學生的學習成果進行分析,
了解學生的優點及弱點,也讓學生了解自己學習的情況,
針對問題進行補救。
(四) 總結性評量: 舉行期末考試以及綜合整個學期各項學習評量的結果,
給予具體的成績。
