【教學構想】

依據英語教材中學習的語文知識為基礎 ,依學生程度,將新習得的單字句型,和之前習得的單字句型加以延伸,以英語為工具,結合自然課程主題和英語學習做跨領域雙語教學,讓學生有機會將習得的語言知識和學科知識加以運用,並利用設計分組活動和數位平台媒材,提升上課的興趣,鼓勵學生做口語的表達練習,增進聽讀與口說英語的能力,達成語言和領域學科雙重學習的目的。

【學生經驗分析】

英語領域

1.已能用簡易英語打招呼及問候,以及使用簡易教室用語。

2.已能運用(phonics)概念學習新單字的發音。

3.已能運用曾學過的相關單字或句型,說出植物各部位構造和生長所需的英文名稱。

4.已能連結教學網站或使用網路平台,做課前的預習和課堂的練習活動,並完成指定的作業。

1.已認識植物身體根、莖、葉、花、果實和種子各部位構造。

2.已了解植物需要陽光、空氣、水、土壤等條件來維持生長。

【教學策略】

以Google classroom作業中派發的影片、歌曲和講義圖片,搭配自然課本的單元內容做課前的預習, 在英語課中,教師進行單字與句型的教學活動,學生除學習領域相關新的學科單字,並能結合之前所學過的單字句型,在課堂搭配數位教材或網路平台,分組進行任務活動,以小組合作方式,學習以英語做口頭報告發表,將英語學習整合在學科學習中，讓學生能實際應用英文。

學習目標

1. 能聽懂認讀並說出曾學過的單字:plant ,root,stem,leaf(leaves),flower,fruit,sunlight,air,water,soil,以及新習得的單字sprout ,sapling ,photosynthesis,carbon dioxide,oxygen ,stomata

活動1

1.以講義教材簡單複習本單元的主題字詞句型後,老師開啟平台網站Padlet連結,學生拿出平板載具加入課程主題, 各組成員將事前分派的主題任務,繳交口頭報告作業內容

2.各組上台做口頭報告

每位學生將自已負責的報告內容,以圖片和文字貼在padlet 各組分派的主題區塊下方,並以組別到台前做英語口說報告

Activity 1 Let’s show and talk

After briefly reviewing the topic words and sentence patterns of this unit using the handouts and textbooks, the teacher opens the Padlet link of the platform website, and students take out their ipads to join the course topics.

Dividing students into groups. Five to six people will be one group.

Arrange some objects they’ve

choosen before.Members of each group will submit the assigned topic tasks in advance and submit oral report assignments.

2.Each student will post the content of the report he/she is responsible for in the form of pictures and text under the topic block assigned to each group in the padlet, and then go to the stage to give an English oral report as a group.
