國家科學及技術委員會人文處傑出研究獎申請須知

一、注意事項

(一)傑出研究獎申請截止日前之代表性研究成果(可含實作成果)應上傳1~5篇(本、件、項)，並於「人文處傑出研究獎申請人研究成果說明」作系統性精要描述其研究成果之學術價值與社會影響力，以作為評量參考依據。如屬跨領域案件，應說明研究成果具備跨領域性質之突破與影響力。

(二)曾獲選傑出研究獎者，應上傳自獲獎年度申請截止日後之代表性研究成果，並說明與前次研究領域與成果之差異。

(三)申請人應就中、英文版擇一填寫「人文處傑出研究獎申請人研究成果說明」。

二、各類別內涵

(一)基礎研究類：研究成果以突破科學問題為主，並具備下列條件之一者：

1.研究成果具學術原創性或具重要學術價值。

2.研究成果具學理創新性，對學術發展有重大影響及貢獻。

(二)應用研究類：研究成果以解決實務問題為主，對經濟、社會、民生福祉、環境永續、產業效益等具前瞻科技創新，改善人類生活之知識與技術，具有重大貢獻及有具體事實者。

三、審查重點：

基礎研究類及應用研究類之共同審查重點：

1.研究成果之品質、重要性、創新性及在學術或應用上的貢獻及影響力。

2.所參與國內外重要學術事務或所獲獎項等之學術成就對於個人及整體學術發展之重要性或具體貢獻。

應用研究類另考量之審查重點：

1.研究成果能善盡學術之社會責任，對重要實務問題之改進有重大貢獻，並有具體事實者。

2.研究及著述以針對人類社會之實際問題為主，其成果能突顯人文社會科學之價值意義與應有之影響力。

附表

人文處傑出研究獎申請人研究成果說明

• 本表為評量申請人研究成果之依據，應詳實填寫、並應同時更新本會學術研發服務網之個人資料表。

• 本表內容以5頁為限（字型大小12，標準字元間距，單行間距）。

• 曾獲選傑出研究獎者，應上傳自獲獎年度申請截止日後之代表性研究成果，並說明與前次研究領域與成果之差異。(本人曾獲_____年傑出研究獎)

一、請列舉過去代表性研究成果(可含實作成果)作系統性精要描述其學術研究價值與社會影響力。

(一)如屬跨領域案件，應說明研究成果具備跨領域性質之突破與影響力。

(二)曾獲選傑出研究獎者，應說明與前次研究領域與成果之差異。

二、申請人對人才培育、研究團隊與學術社群之建立與服務，以及對學術或社會之影響力。

三、其他資料如申請截止日前獲獎情形、國內外邀請演講、擔任國際重要學術學會理監事或國際知名學術期刊編輯委員等。

Application Form for Outstanding Research Award (ORA)

(Research Fields：Humanities and Social Sciences)

I、Notes：

1. Upload 1-5 representative research achievements (practical works included) achieved before the deadline of the application. Summarize systematically the academic value and social impact of research achievements, which will be the references for the evaluation of this award. If it is a transdisciplinary research, please elaborate that the research breakthroughs have transdisciplinary nature and impact.

2. For those who have been awarded the Outstanding Research Award, upload representative research achievements following the application deadline of the award-winning year, and elaborate the differences of the current and previous research achievements.

3. The description of the applicant's research achievements must be written in either Chinese or English.

II、Categories：

1. Fundamental Research

The research achievements should be focused on the breakthrough of scientific problems and meet at least one of the following requirements:

• being academically original or of great academic value.

• being innovative and influential in academic studies, as well of great contributions to academic development.

2. Applied Research

The research achievements should be practical in innovatively solving problems of economy, society, citizen’s well-being, environmental sustainability, and industrial efficiency in Taiwan. It should also have great contributions to the improvement of knowledge and technology for human life.

III、Review Criteria

Shared criteria for fundamental research and applied research

1. The quality, significance, and innovation of research achievements as well as their academic and practical contributions and impact.

2. The importance of the academic achievements derived from participating the domestic and international academic affairs or receiving academic awards that make great contribution to personal and the overall academic development.

Specific criteria for applied research

1. The research achievements that fulfil social responsibility, and make significant contributions to the improvements for practical problems. Please provide the concrete facts.

2. The research achievements focus on solving the practical problems of human society, with the results highlighting the merits and impact of humanities and social sciences.

Appendix

Description of the Applicant's Research Achievements for Outstanding Research Award

• The applicant’s research performance will be evaluated by the research achievements. Please fill in the form completely and accurately. The principal investigator should update personal data on the academic research service portal of National Science and Technology Council.

• The appendix is limited to 5 pages. (font size: 12pt; single line spacing)

• For those who have been awarded the Outstanding Research Award, please upload representative research achievements following the application deadline of the award-winning year, and elaborate the differences of the current and previous research achievements. (I have been awarded the Outstanding Research Award in year of _____.)
