activities might not be OK at this time.
Or we should say: __43.__ might not be OK at the time like this.
People in Taiwan also noticed that. Every year, there are many
religious activities in every part of Taiwan. Sometimes, thousands of
people eat and spend several nights together. Nobody can keep
healthy for sure around a COVID-19 patient. So, it is safer to put off
or stop those activities, but still __44.__. In their mind, gods would

(A) They all had bad ideas about having more babies.
(B) They all share their own experiences of teaching kids.
(C) Not all of them like the new policy from the government.
(D) All of them got married and have more than two children.
Raising children in our country is not a good idea
because it costs a lot of money. Being a mother of two
sons, I need to spend much money on children’s needs.
Although I can get one thousand dollars for each child
every month from the government, it is still not
enough.
I have four kids and I feel great to know the policy.
My husband and I love kids. We are so happy to have
so many children. Although I stopped working to be a
stay-at-home mother after I had my first child, I still
enjoy my life a lot. Now, I have more money to buy
toys or books for my children every month.
The working hours in our country are very long, so
it is difficult for men and women to get married and
raise a family. Take me for example. I work twelve
hours a day from Monday to Friday. Sometimes, I even
need to work on Saturday. If I have a child, I may not
have much free time and it is difficult for me to take a
break.
It’s not a good idea to give money to parents. It’s
those parents’ job to raise their children. Why does the
government have to do so?
