Remarks on TOCFL Rescoring Request (for Use in Taiwan)
Applications may be made to have a test done in Taiwan rescored. The scoring of TOCFL tests is rigorously
undertaken, and as a result, to date very few rescoring requests have resulted in a change of the result. No
request to review, examine, or have access to the answer sheets and/or files in any other way will be
accepted, and the names and other personal details of the scorers will not be disclosed.
I. Application Deadline: Applications to rescore a test may be made up to 2 months after the date that
the test scores are posted online. No requests will be accepted beyond the deadline.
II. Application Fees:

III. Email application procedure:
1. Complete the TOCFL Rescoring Application Form.
2. Applicants in Taiwan: Pay at a post office using a fund transfer form with the following details

3. Applicants overseas: Pay using an international funds transfer with the following details

4. Insert an electronic image of the official payment record (such as a bank transfer receipt or
confirmation) to your application form and email it to SC-TOP (service@sc-top.org.tw).
5. The steps outlined above must all be undertaken to complete the application procedure.
IV. Processing Time: This is counted from the next working day after the day the request is received:

V. Rescoring Procedure:
1. Listening Test & Reading Test: the computer generated scores and the applicant’s original test
sheets for each section will be retrieved and manually examined to detect any possible
discrepancy with the correct procedure. Scores recorded in the test registration files will also be
examined to detect any possible coding errors.
2. Speaking Tests and Writing Tests: the computer generated scores and the applicant’s original
