二、Translate the following paragraphs into Chinese：（35 分）
President Trump will fly to Singapore this month after all for a landmark summit
meeting with North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong-un, but he now anticipates a more drawn-out
negotiation than once envisioned and indicates that he will stop increasing pressure on the
regime while talks proceed.
Eight days after abruptly canceling the June 12 meeting citing North Korea’s “open
hostility,” Mr. Trump just as abruptly announced on Friday that it was back on, the latest
head-spinning twist in a diplomatic drama that has captivated and confused much of the
world. After complaining of North Korean bad faith, he said, in effect, never mind.
“We’re over that, totally over that, and now we’re going to deal and we’re going to
really start a process,” Mr. Trump told reporters after meeting at the White House with a
high-ranking North Korean envoy who delivered a personal letter from Mr. Kim. “We’re
meeting with the chairman on June 12, and I think it’s probably going to be a very
successful — ultimately, a successful process.”
He said that economic sanctions would remain in place in the meantime, but that he
would not impose more as talks continue, and he even backed off the phrase “maximum
pressure” that he has used to describe his strategy.

多數人在過去兩星期看到林書豪時，看見的是紐約尼克隊的球星林書豪，但是
我看著他，卻是看到另一個人。那是我的哥哥鮑伯，他是熱愛運動的化身。小學二
年級他就永遠坐不住，時常要站起來在室內跑來跑去。長大後他是全美國大學聯盟
長曲棍球冠軍賽的先發球員，也是得到耐吉背書的馬拉松選手，而且在 50 幾歲登上
聖母峰，不帶嚮導。
可是我的家人未曾看過他的曲棍球比賽；我們確實看過幾次他跑馬拉松，但也
是直到他 20 來歲的時候了。在鮑伯的全盛時期，我們出生於上海的父母完全只想著
要他進醫學院。我還記得我爸陪著他演算數學，一課又一課，就在閣樓裡的大黑板
上--多麼慈愛的一面。但是鮑伯永遠當不成醫生，我也一樣；一直要等到我妹妹出現，
家中終於有人穿上白袍了。
