home to care for sick children. This means they have less
time to focus on their jobs. It can cause them to make less
money. However, in the 1960s, women did four times
more housework than their husbands! Things have
improved a lot since then, and this is good for everyone.

A 14-year-old boy in the United Kingdom had made
headlines last month. His name is Ben and he has autism.
Autism is a developmental disorder that affects people in
many different ways. Ben's type of autism meant he was
very strict about doing things the same way, using the
exact same tools and also at the same time, every time.
Ben had been using the same cup to drink out of since he
was 2 years old. One day, the cup broke. Ben was now not
drinking anything and would only drink out of his favorite
cup.
His parents turned to the internet for help after they
discovered the company that made the cups no longer
made that specific cup. Parents everywhere did what they
could to help Ben out. The company that made the cups:
Tommee Tippee UK, heard about Ben's problem and

Fall has arrived for most countries in the northern side
of the earth. The leaves have begun to change color and it
gets colder and colder with each passing day. For Canadians,
the coming of fall means that winter is not very far behind.
Canadians experience some of the coldest winters in North
America. The endless blankets of snow paint the world in
white and are beautiful scenes to many people. However,
there is one thing at the back of every Canadian's mind
during winter time: frostbite.
Frostbite is the result of body tissues that became
frozen and died. When it gets below 0°C outside, the body
stops sending as much blood to the body parts except the
vital ones important for life. The fingers, toes, ears and nose
get little blood while the heart, lungs and brain get most of
it. Without the blood to keep them warm, they begin to
freeze. Numb fingers and toes are a sign that those areas
aren't getting enough blood. Not serious cases can be treated
quite easily at hospitals. Serious cases usually lead to
amputation, or cutting off your legs or hands. So, if you ever
decide to go to Canada during the winter, make sure you
dress very warmly and keep your socks and gloves dry. It's
the best way to ensure you'll still have your fingers and toes
when spring returns!

India’s caste system makes sure that people stay in the
same job or social position from birth, with almost zero
chances to move forward in life. Women in India face some
of the bigger challenges than men do. Women are usually
asked to marry someone by their parents. Women are often
raped and attacked by acid. However, Indian women have
shown that they can do as well as men do, or even better.
For example, there are strong female leaders, pilots, and
even a Nobel Peace Prize winner.
An Indian woman named Ms. Ali has been in the news
a lot because she is a bouncer at a very famous and popular
night club. Like male bouncers, she stops fights, checks
female customers and looks for illegal drugs. She exercises
an hour each day and looks strong. Many women who visit
the club say they feel very safe when Ms. Ali watches over
them
