Vampires and Garlic
Vampires are the subject of many scary books and movies, and they're usually scared of one thing—garlic.
However, why did all the writers make garlic a vampire's nightmare? There are actually some reasons
behind it.
To start with, garlic doesn't smell good. In fact, many people hate the strong smell of garlic. Vampires
have a better sense of smell, so garlic should give them a headache. What's more, garlic has allicin in it.
It can actually kill mosquitos, the real-life vampires. If they can die from it, vampires could, too.
Finally, garlic treats infections. In most vampire stories, vampire bites can cause an infection and turn
people into a vampire. Luckily, garlic is a very strong antibiotic from nature, and it can fight off and kill
most infections. So, if becoming a vampire starts from getting an infection, then garlic would be a good way
to end vampires.
Although vampires are not real, garlic is great for sure. Garlic is useful for keeping bugs away and even
treating infections. It truly is a wonderful gift from nature.
