一、英譯中：
Last month, several huge storms hit Taiwan. Many of the island’s cities and towns were
affected by the heavy rainfall and strong winds, which caused widespread flooding,
property damage and injuries. But in the wake of this disaster, many stories of human
triumph in the face of extreme adversity have emerged. Rescue workers and ordinary
people alike appeared in public to help those in need in any way they could, whether it
was distributing food, providing those who lost their homes with a place to stay, or tending
to those who were hurt. （20 分）
二、中譯英：
即使在現今科技進步的時代，談到建築，建造業者所剩可用的往往是三種主要材料
－水泥、鋼及磚。但是，愈來愈多創新設計家計畫再利用一種世界上大量，但卻不
可能是建築材料的材料-塑膠瓶。首先，瓶子建築成本很低，再來，瓶子建築也很堅
固耐用，塑膠瓶也能讓自然光射入建築，減少耗能並創造溫暖，吸引人的內部環境。

三、應用文：
在你居住的社區內，最近有人不顧大家衛生，隨便亂倒垃圾、廚餘，引來大量蒼蠅、
螞蟻，請以住戶身分，寫一封英文信給社區內各住戶，要求每人每戶正視社區衛生，
避免以上行為，如經證實，勸止無效者，將移送法辦。（文長不超過 200 字）（30 分）
