(38~40)
I quite often look at my shadow.
I like how it follows me round
And does all the same things that I do
Without ever making a __38__.
It hides when the weather is cloudy.
But I know it's always quite near,
For later, as soon as the sun shines,
My shadow is sure to appear.
I've noticed sometimes in the evening,
While watching the sun going down,
My shadow gets all tired and lazy
And stretches right out on the ground.
But then when it comes to my bedtime,
I lie down and turn off the light.
My eyes close; I can't help but wonder
Where shadows like mine go at night?
Perhaps it meets with other shadows,
Sits down and tells them about me,
The stupid things that I've been doing
And hears its friends laughing with glee.
But when I awake in the morning,
I'm always happy to see
As soon as I draw back the curtains,
My shadow's there waiting for me.

Khao Yai National Park was the first national park in Thailand. Today, it’s the country’s third largest.
Many visitors go to Khao Yai every year, so workers must keep the park beautiful. The workers have
come up with a new lesson for people with bad manners. They’re picking up people’s trash and mailing it
back to them.
Everyone who wants to go camping in the park must write down their address. If their group leaves
any garbage behind, the workers know where to send it. Empty bottles, potato chip bags, and other
pieces of garbage are packed up. They’re sent to the visitors’ home addresses with notes that say: “You
forgot these things.” The park hopes that this will teach people to respect the natural world. Visitors
who break the rules will be fined and won’t be let into the park again.
