一、An ocean-going fishing vessel registered in Taiwan (R.O.C.) has a bloodbath
at sea. The vessel is drifting at sea about 1,000 nautical miles from Mauritius.
Please issue a press release on behalf of the Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign
Affairs to explain how our government will employ all possible means to
provide assistance for the crew of the ship.（25%）
二、After Taiwan (R.O.C.) and the Republic of Nicaragua cut off diplomatic ties
in 2021, the Nicaraguan government confiscated the original premises of
Taiwan’s embassy in Nicaragua and handed it over to the P.R.C. Please
compose a formal letter of protest on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
of Taiwan to strongly condemn this act.（25%）
三、Suppose Taiwan (R.O.C.) and country X have a sovereignty dispute over the
Diaoyutai Islets and their adjacent waters, Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign
Affairs has decided to submit an arbitration case to the Permanent Court of
Arbitration in The Hague, Netherlands. Please draft the pleadings for the case
in which the basis for Taiwan’s sovereignty over the Diaoyutai Islets is
explained in detail.（25%）
四、Sri Lanka is currently suffering from government bankruptcy and ongoing
political and economic turmoil, resulting in frequent local demonstrations and
a serious lack of livelihood resources. Please issue a formal statement on
behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan (R.O.C.) to explain how
our government would respond to this matter.（25%）
