Hi, everyone. Welcome to Tomato Line. I’m your DJ, Jenny. Today I’m going to
play one of my favorite songs- Starry Starry Night. This song was written by an
American singer Don McLean. He wrote it as a tribute to Vincent van Gogh. So the
song has another name “Vincent.” Starry Night is one of Vincent van Gogh’s famous
paintings. The painting is famous for its unique style. Unlike most of van Gogh’s
famous works, Starry Night was from the memory, but not out in the landscape. Van
Gogh never got rich by selling paintings in his lifetime though he is famous now. It is
said that he only sold one painting. This song touches my heart every time when I
listen to it. This is really a great song. Now turn up the volume and enjoy the song
with me.
