申請外僑居留證應備文件及費用

1. 申請表一份。

2. 一吋照片二張(申請展延及重入國 許可者免附)。

3. 護照暨居留簽證正、影本各一份，正本驗畢後發還。

4. 相關證明文件：

(1)應聘工作或投資者：目的事業主管機關核准函正、影本各一份(正本驗畢後發還)及在職證明。

(2)來華留學者：學生證或在學證明書正、影本各一份(初次申請者，得以入學通知書替代)。

(3)來華傳教者：

在臺宗教團體出具之邀請函或相關證明文件。

宗教團體立案證明書影本一份。

(4)依親生活者：親屬關係證明正本、影本各一份，（如出生證明、結婚證書、所依親屬戶口名簿、三個月內之戶籍謄本或外僑居留證等）。

5. 費用：一年期1000元；二年期2000元；三年期3000元；僑生：一年期500元。

注意事項:

＊未於期限內辦理展延者，主管機關得註銷其外僑居留資格，並限令出國。

＊居留外僑得於申請外僑居留證時，同時申請重入國許可(僑生除外)。

Documents & Fee Required for Alien Resident Certificate Application

1.An application form.

2.Two photos (1”×1.5”). (Only for the new ARC applicant.)

3.The original and one photocopy of the passport, including the resident visa.Theoriginal will be returned after verification.

4.The following documents, as appropriate:

(1)Employees or investors: The original and one photocopy of the official letter of approval issued by the competent authority (the original will be returned after verification), and the employment certificate.

(2)Students: The original and one photocopy of the student card or the enrollment certificate issued by a university or college accredited by the Ministry of Education. (First-time applicant may submit the official letter of admission instead.)

(3)Missionaries:

The original and one photocopy of an official letter of invitation or related certificates from the religious institution in Taiwan.

One photocopy of the legal registration certificate of religious institution.

(4)Dependents: The original and one photocopy of the relationship documents, such as a birth certificate, a marriage certificate, a transcript of household registration, an Alien Resident Certificate, etc.

5.Fee: 1 year: NT$ 1,000; 2 years: NT$ 2,000; 3 years: NT$ 3,000; Overseas Chinese student: NT$ 500.

Notes:

＊Failure to extend the ARC before the expiry date will result in automatic cancellation of the ARC and mandatory deportation.

＊Any resident alien (except an Overseas Chinese student) who applies for an Alien Resident Certificate may complete an application for a reentry permit at the same time.

申請延期停留應備文件

1.申請表一份。

2.護照正、影本各一份(正本驗畢後發還)。

3.相關證明文件：

1. 探親者：

被探親屬之戶口名簿、三個月內之戶籍謄本或外僑居留證。

親屬關係證明（如結婚證書、出生證明）。

2. 研習國語文者：

大學院校國語文中心或經地方教育主管機關認可設立之國語文補習班的註冊證明、上課時間表。

出席紀錄(第一次延期者免附出席紀錄)。

3. 從事宗教活動者：

在臺宗教團體出具之邀請函或相關證明文件。

宗教團體立案證明書影本一份。

4. 應聘者：主管機關之聘僱許可文件。

5. 其他：主管機關核准證明文件。

注意事項:

＊因故需延長停留，應於停留期間屆滿前10日內提出申請，每次延長不得逾原簽證許可停留之期間。但合計停留期間不得逾六個月或180日。

＊為了解申請人延期事由，有時承辦人要求申請人提供其他文件補充說明。

Documents Required for Visitor Visa Extension

1. An application form.

2. The original and one photocopy of the passport. (The original will be returned after verification.)

3.The following documents, as appropriate:

1. Visiting relatives:

A householdregistration or a transcript of household registration within recent three months or the ARC of the relatives.

A certificate of relationship (e.g. marriage certificate, birth certificate).

2. Chinese language training:

An enrollment certificate or class schedulefrom an approved public or private language center or university.

 Attendance record (except the first extension).

3. Religious obligations or activities:

The original and one photocopy of the letter of invitation or related certificates from the religious institution in Taiwan.

One photocopy of legal registration certificate of religious institution.

(4)Employment: work permit issued by the competent authority.

(5)Other: certificates from competent authorities.

Notes:

＊The applicant shall apply for extension within ten days prior to the expiration of a visitor visa. Limitations: (a)The duration of each such extension shall not be longer than that of the original visa. (b) The holder of a visitor visa may not exceed six months aggregate time in the country.

＊To clarify the purpose of the extension, each applicant should provide additional supporting documents.

申請外僑永久居留證

應備文件及費用

1. 申請表一份。

2. 一吋照片二張。

3. 外國人符合合格居留（住）期間及每年居住日數聲明書。

4. 合法連續居留期間之入出境紀錄證明一份。(向警政署入出境管理局申請)

5. 外國人每年在我國合法居住日數統計表。

6. 護照正本、影本一份。正本驗畢後發還。

7. 外僑居留證正本、影本一份。正本驗畢後發還。

8. 健康檢查合格證明一份。

9. 最近三年之納(免)稅證明一份。

10. 財產或特殊藝能證明一份。

11. 最近五年內之本國及我國警察紀錄證明書一份。

12. 其他相關證明文件。

13. 費用：10,000元。

注意事項：

• 申請人領取外僑永久居留證後，每年須在台住滿183日以上，否則，警察機關將會廢止該外僑永久居留證。

• 持證人如因其他原因需長期停留台灣地區以外之國家，致無法在台住滿183日者，須於出國前至當地警察局辦理報備手續。

Documents & Fee Required for Alien Permanent Resident Certificate Application

1.An application form.

2.Two photos (1”×1.5”).

3.Statement of Eligibility for the Required Residence and Physical Presence in Taiwan Areas.

4. The Certificate of Entry and Exit (issued by the Immigration Bureau) verifying dates of continuous legal residence.

5.The calculation of the applicant’s physical presence in the Taiwan Areas each year .

6.The passport, original and one photocopy. The original will be returned after verification.

7.The ARC, original and one photocopy. The original will be returned after verification.

8.The satisfactory health examination report.

9.TheIncome Tax (or Tax-exempt) Certificates for the most recent three years.

10.The Certificates verifying skill, talent, or financial assets.

11.The Police Record Certificates for the recent five years issued by(a) the applicant’s country of origin and (b) the local police bureau in Taiwan, respectively.

12.Other relevant certificates.

13. Fee：NT $10,000.

Notes：

• A person who has obtained the APRC should stay in Taiwan over 183 days per year. Otherwise, his/her APRC will be revoked.

• If the person has to stay overseas for more than 183 days, he/she has to report the reason to the local foreign police bureau.
